This artwork captures one of the purest forms of connection: the quiet bond between a mother and her foal. Every detail, from the softness of their coats to their soft touch, was drawn with care and intention. I wanted the piece to radiate calmness and affection, to let the viewer almost feel that tender moment.

The title A Mother's Touch reflects not only their physical closeness, but also the trust and protection that flows between them. Through each layer of pencil work, I aimed to express that warmth, the kind that doesn't need words, only presence.

This piece reminds me why I love drawing animals: their emotions are subtle, yet so deeply sincere. In their stillness, they speak volumes.
