"In this piece I set out to explore an idea: how much is needed... and how much can be left out. I deliberately stepped back from intensively detailed rendering, to see how the barest suggestion of pencil marks, the lightest hint of texture, could still evoke something rich, alive, real.

From a distance, you might read this artwork as realistic. Yet when you draw nearer, you'll discover that much has been left unsaid: strokes are minimal, details are sparse, edges blur, and the wild seizes its space not by definition, but by suggestion. If you ever see the artwork in real life, I invite you to hold both views: step back to sense the form and feel the whole, then step in and let your eye wander in the incomplete, the unfinished, the suggestion. Because sometimes realism isn't about replicating every hair and every shadow, but about capturing the essence, the wild within.
