This artwork is living proof that happy little accidents truly exist. It was a hot summer day when I was working on this portrait. My desk stood beneath an open window, letting in a gentle breeze. When noon arrived, I went downstairs for lunch, forgetting to close it... By the time I returned, the sky had turned, and raindrops had fallen across the entire drawing.

My first instinct was panic. Hours of work ruined, or so I thought. But after calming down, I realised I could either erase the traces or embrace them. That's when I decided to let the rain become part of the story. I gently worked the raindrops into the background, allowing nature to leave its own touch on the piece.

What began as a small disaster turned into something unexpectedly beautiful, a reminder that even opposites can exist in balance. The softness of the pony against the storm's mark, calm meeting chaos, together they create harmony in contrast.

When life gives you lemons… sometimes it also gives you rain.
